The atmosphere was very nice and the service was amazing. I love their Thai tea and orange chicken which is crispy! Would come again.

We had a great experience. They were super busy and still managed to make time to talk to us and ask how we were doing. After learning that we like a high level of spice, they offered additional spices that are house made. Definitely returning to try new items and their delicious vegetable fried rice, yellow curry, and noodles. Great service and generous portions.

Hello my name. So Cute. I just move to Downey 10 months ago, we used to drive to LA DOWNTOWN for a Good thai food. Until now. This place have plenty parking, the food is amazing. The spacy seafood soup mmmmmm yumy. Fried rice another yummy yummy yummy. Plus the attention. thanks

Food: Chicken fried rice 10/10 well seasoned Beef wok - 10/10 saucy with veggies Chicken chow meng - good but I would want it with some extra garlic Organge chicken - 10/10 one of the best I've had chicken is CRISPY and a nice balanced orange sauce Drinks: Thai tea - 4/5 i like my Thai tea extra creamy this one was a little lite portion size: well sized portions service: Staff is sweet and checked in with us Ambiance: great for any group. Thai food is one of my favorites and my girlfriend recommended this spot because she had the Tom Kha Soup once, years ago and never forgot about it. Anyways, we visited during the dinner hour and were highly impressed. The staff were super friendly and welcoming and the service was exceptional. Of course we ordered the Crab Rangoons as a starter and it was hot and crispy. For the entrees we ordered the Tom Kha Soup, Pad See Ew with Beef and the Pineapple Fried Rice w/ Chicken. The soup was hot, creamy and fragrant with fresh ginger and lemongrass. The shrimp was generous in size and flavorful from simmering in the broth. The Pad See Ew and the Pineapple Fried Rice was delicious. Overall we had a great experience at this local mom and pop spot nestled in a neighborhood in Downey, Ca. Thank you Sizzling Thai Kitchen!

Tried out this restaurant for lunch. There's great lunch specials where you pick your main item, and it comes with soup, salad, rice, and fried wonton strips. The soup was a clear broth with vegetables and a small piece of chicken. I also tried their thai tea. Everything was delicious. The service was great and the servers were so nice. I accidentally spilled my thai tea on my pants. The staff was was kind enough to give me a complimentary to go cup filled with a new thai tea. I was very appreciative. It was clear that the staff were genuinely nice caring people.

Ordered takeout for a catered work lunch. The person who took my phone order was so patient and helpful. Pad see ew - the noodles were not soggy but was a bit under seasoned. I chose tofu as the protein but was not expecting non-fried tofu - see pic. Calamari - not greasy and the calamari to batter ratio was perfect.
